Roger Vernon Ryan, age 81, of Westerville, Ohio passed away Friday, November 22, 2013. Born January 23, 1932 in Portsmouth Ohio. Vice President of Ryan International. Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ryan; parents, W. Gordon and Fay Ryan; brother, George Ryan; sister, Julia Speasmaker; step-daughter, Elaine Stewart. Survived by children, Sara Ellen (Buck) Slack of Pataskala, OH; Nancy Ryan of Thornville, OH; Donea Ryan of Heath, OH, Michelle (Bob) Ryan-Scobee of Marysville, OH, Glen (Vanessa) Ryan of Mt. Vernon, OH; step-son, John Dudgeon of Arkansas; brother, Paul Ryan of Dublin, OH; sister, Mary Reed of Saracuse, Utah; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville on Tuesday, November 26th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.. A service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 27th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 307 Huber Village Blvd, Westerville, OH 43081.
