Matthew E. Williams, age 56, of Westerville, OH passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Matthew was a loving father and husband. A member of the Army National Guard. Retired after more than twenty years from the insurance industry. He was a fan of the Chicago Bears and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Loved boating and going to dinner and a movie. Preceded in death by his wife, Amy J. Williams; parents, Conrad and Lucille Williams and brother, Rusty Williams. Survived by his daughters, Heather and Brittany Williams; brother, Terry Williams; sister, Connie Schwepe and multiple nieces and nephews. A service will be held Saturday, August 19th at 10:30 a.m. with visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville. Pastor Bonnie Gerber officiating. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kobacker House 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus, OH 43214.

My condolences to the entire family. I will always fondly remember Matt and his great sense of humor! I lived down the street from the Williams family and have wonderful memories of the entire family. Matt will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
