Harold Dean Hard, age 81, of Westerville, peacefully walked out of our world into the arms of Jesus on November 7, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.. He leaves behind his wife of 61 years Mary Jo (Stubbs) Hard; sister Marge (Enos) Cooperider; many loving cousins, nephews, friends and neighbors. Preceeded in death by parents, Harold and Thelma (Burwell) Hard. He was born December 3, 1933. Dean and his wife were raised in Westerville and Dean graduated from the Westerville High School Class of 1954. He worked for many years with North American Rockwell and retired from Lane Aviation. The family would like to thank Mount Carmel Hospice Care for their guidance and assistance in the last week. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. where service will be held Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 10 a.m.. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Mount Carmel Hospice or The Delaware County Humane Society.
