RAMEY
Evan Art Ramey, age 91, of Centerbug, May 5, 2014 at home. Retired carpenter. U.S. Army veteran of World War II in the South Pacific where he received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Loving husband, father and grandfather. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Freida; son, David (Diane) Ramey and daughter, Janice (Dwight) Eblin, all of Centerburg; grandchildren, Brittany (Matt) Brown, Josh Ramey (fiance, Elizabeth Amundson), David, Michael and Amy Eblin; great-grandchildren, Blake and Clara Johnson, and Ally Brown. Preceded in death by his parents, Velma and Alexis, brothers, John, Donald and Edward. Friends may call at the JOHNSON-MELICK-MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 49 W. Church Street, Centerburg, Thursday 5-7 p.m. where service will be held Friday at 11 a.m., Fred Albrecht, minister, officiaitng. Interment Bloomfield Cemetery.
