Cara McIntosh, age 81, of Westerville, OH. July 24, 2011. Retired from Mettler Toledo in 1992. Member of Blendon, Westerville and Reynoldsburg Senior Centers. Survived by children, Julia (Marion, Jr.) Evans, Roy (Cindy) McIntosh, Irma (Terry) Shaw and Gloria (Mike) Wood; daughter-in-law, Denise Gossage; grandchildren,
Lori (Ben) Runyon, Jason McIntosh, Amy Evans, Patrick (Stephanie) Shaw, Kelli (Jason) Berner, Sara Shaw, Ashley McIntosh and Kirsten Wood; great-grandchildren, Cara, Dylan, Olivia, Aiden, Jackson and Colin; brother, Jerry Lee (Wanda) Mapes; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her son, Eugene McIntosh, parents, Roy and Nunrie Mapes, brothers, Hartzell and Druie, sister, Lena Snider. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m., Pastor Greg Ford, officiating. Interment Pioneer Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Julia,Roy,Irma,Gloria and grandchildren. I am sorry for the loss of your dear mother and grandma.No words can describe of how heartbroken you all are. She was a swell person and very caring for her family. It has been years since I seen her, but all the memories of her when I was a small child will never been forgotten, May God Bless you all.

Mike, Gloria, Kristen and family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Mcintosh.
I have great memories of spending time at Gloria’s house and interacting with “mom”. I can still hear her voice calling for Gloria to come to the phone.
I remember her as being a very strong woman at the Wood household an I know she will be dearly missed.
