With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Ruth J. Bruce, age 97, our loving and devoted Grandmother, Mother, and Friend, on September 29, 2021.Born in Dayton, Ohio on June 30, 1924 to Edward and Elsie Little. Ruth graduated from South High School in 1942 followed by completing courses at OSU, with a certification as a bomb maker. Over the years, Ruth liked to keep busy being involved in church, and in organizations such as Red Cross and YMCA, as well as other committees and social groups such as Still Going Strong and Young at Heart. She loved to travel, tend to her flower garden, play bingo and enjoyed watching OSU Buckeyes Football. Ruth was the beloved Mother of Susie (Eric) Del Col, Sandra (Brian) Sheehan, Patti (Charlie) Kramer and Marilyn (James) North. She was a proud grandmother to numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Elsie little, husband, James Roberts, husband, Fred Bruce, daughters Alice and Sally Ann, brothers, Alfred, Robert and Edward Little. She lived a full life surrounded by family. She will be dearly missed and will be forever in our hearts.Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 11am - 1pm at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Rd., Westerville, Ohio 43081. Funeral service will follow at Obetz Cemetery 4455 Groveport Rd., Obetz Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Capital City Hospice.

Thinking of the family with deepest sympathy. She was a great sister-in-law, but most of all a good friend. She was always there when someone needed her. May her soul be in repose.
