Carolyn Sue Dickenson Cantrell, 83, passed peacefully on June 25, 2025 and returned home to be with the Lord. She was cherished as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. A woman of unwavering faith and joyful spirit, Carolyn was a lifelong member of Miller Church in Johnstown, Ohio. Carolyn graduated from Johnstown Monroe High School in 1959. Though she devoted much of her life to her familylovingly caring for her home and nurturing her loved ones she also made meaningful contributions in her professional life.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Cantrell Sr., and daughter Becky Cantrell. She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith, cherished by her sons Scott (Mary) Cantrelll, James (Judi) Cantrell Jr., grand-children Matt, Ashley, Trina and Jill, as well as four great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Saturday, June 28th at Miller Church, 5241 Miller Church Rd, Johnstown, Ohio 43031 and Monday, June 30th 12-1 P.M. with Rev. Cal Alexander officiating. My heart is heavy for my family and the passing of a wonderful lady. She adopted me as a daughter after the passing of my mom. Carol was always thinking of others and went out of her way for them. She will be greatly missed. I look forward to the day we r reunited and rejoicing together with the Lord. My prayers r with u Jimmy and Scottie. I love u both, Brenda
