Ruby L. Gwinn, age 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. She was born July 18, 1933 in Green Sulphur Springs, WV to the late George Porter and Blanche Rose Rice Meadows. She was preceded in death by sisters Marie Fox, Pansy Meadows, Frankie Cales, and Margie Holland and brothers Basil, Earl, Carl, Charles, Jimmy, Jackie and Billy Meadows. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Franklin W. Gwinn of Westerville, OH, daughter Bonnie (Dennis) Beaver of Westerville, OH, grandson Kevin (Tiffany) Beaver of New Albany, OH and her two precious great grandchildren Addison and Ethan Beaver. Ruby was a former member of Community Methodist Church while living in Circleville, OH and was a member of The Church of the Messiah in Westerville, OH. She worked at General Electric Lamp Plant in Circleville. She was a member of the Circleville Garden Club for many years and enjoyed working in her garden and flower beds. She won many awards in the Circleville Pumpkin Show for her flower arranging. She also enjoyed antiquing and doing crafts. She owned and operated her own craft and home decor shop, the Country Woodbox for many years. Friends may call Monday, August 23rd, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Ohio 43081 where service will follow at 2:00 p.m., interment at Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers:

I am saddened to learn of Ruby's passing. She was a good friend to my Dad while at GE, and I enjoyed visiting her shop with my parents. My heartfelt condolences to Frank, Bonnie and family.

Frank, we were so sorry to hear of Ruby's passing. Ruby was a great Lady! We will keep you in our prayers. Kyle is married now and about to become a daddy! He has come a long way from being the lawn mowing kid :-) If you get to Circleville to visit look us up. Linda still works at PICCA and we still live out on 56, 10 miles east of Circleville.
