Wood, Robert Dennis
Woody, age 61, passed away May 4, 2020. Preceded in death by father Robert and wife Dina. He is survived by mother Betty, brother Mike (Gloria), niece Kirsten, daughter Maria, 4 grandchildren who knew him as Papaw (Alexis, Chase, Eli, and Jacob), and 1 great grandchild (Blaize). He also had 3 life long friends, Tom Conaway, Jeff Hatfield and Don Williams. Graduated from Westerville South High School in 1976. He attended Columbus State and was employed by Chemical Abstracts Service for 24 years as a Sr. Maintenance Technician. Married the love of his life, Dina, in 1984. A love that was cut short. He enjoyed softball, bowling and most of all, riding his Harley. Due to the current pandemic we will be conducting a drive by service at Cheshire Cemetery on Saturday, May 23 rd at 10am and immediately followed with a private family service. I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. Douglas Adams

Woody, you were one of the good guys. Always making us laugh with your jokes and karaoke. Your smile would light up a room.. all of us will miss the softball games we played. There were hundreds of those. Rest In Peace until next time my Friend.

My heart is aching due to the sudden loss of Dennis. He was a wonderful friend and confidant. Dennis will be missed by many. He was a wonderful Son,Brother, husband to his dear Dina, and a Grandfather. I can say it has been my distinct honor to be able to call him one of my best friends.
