WAGNER

Bill
A humble man
Spreading humor where possible
Honest and caring
God loving, positive minded
Devoted to his loved ones

He walked amidst life
not so much worrying about what material items he had
but what love and help he could spread
He was there to help mothers and fathers
To guide children, whether it be his own or others.
To assist in church duties
To be a role model

Some of his last words of wisdom were that we should be nice to
everyone, that everyone is good, and to make sure that you tell them
that you love them.
William R. “Bill” Wagner, age 82 of Mt. Vernon passed quietly at home on
November 13, 2009 surrounded by family as he fought his courageous battle with
cancer. Bill will be desperately missed by his loving wife, Marsha Wagner, his children Linda (Mike) Latella, Bill (Sheila) Wagner, Joe (DeeDee) Wagner, Cindy Wagner and Lisa (Tad) Petrie. 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and very dear friends. Bill was preceded in death by his
parents, Louise and Arthur C. Wagner; sisters, Margaret Porter and Carolyn Wagner and brother George Wagner. Bill was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Bill retired from National Graphics after 47 years. He enjoyed nature, animals, sports, family and friends. Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 21, 2009 at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road Westerville, Ohio and will be followed with a gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life at the Vineyard Church of Columbus, 6000 Cooper Road Westerville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, friends if they wish, may contribute to The William R. Wagner Fund at any National City Bank. A tree will be dedicated to Bill at Dawes Arboretum and any remaining funds will go to a good cause determined by trustee of fund along with the family.

I knew Bill very well, he was my brother-in-law. He always was there for you and let you know that he loved you. His sense of humor was there to lift your spirits when you were down. I will miss him so much, but I am consoled in knowing that he lays in the bosom of Jesus now and suffers no more.
