William (Bill) V. Raison, 75, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday February 17, 2024 the day before his 76th birthday.
Bill was born in Portsmouth, OH on February 18, 1948, and graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1966. He volunteered to serve in the United States Army during Vietnam.
Bill earned his Bachelor of Science from Franklin University in December, 2000. He retired from a long career as an Independent Insurance Agent in 2022.
Bill married Gina Raison (Capparuccini) October 6, 2000, and loved spending time with their family and friends. A margarita on the beach in Aruba is where he truly got to relax. He loved dancing, classic rock music and was (slowly) learning to like country.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Anna Raison; sister Elnora Columbia; and former wife, Pam Raison (Hartlage).
He is survived by his wife, Gina; children Andy (Heather) Raison, Aimee (Dave) Piatak, Amy (Michael) Traver, and Andrea (Brian) Danielson; and 13 grandchildren: Sullivan, Austin, Hayden, Paige, Nathan, Francesca, Allison, Dominic, Lucienne, Jackson, Maddox, Mason, and Raphaela; brother Lowell (Ruth) Raison.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville OH 43081, from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb 25, 2024.
