STOCKDALE
William C. “Bill” Stockdale, age 87, of Westerville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday December 8, 2014 and join his wife of 63 years, Dortha, who died August 13, 2014. Retired from Columbus and Southern Electric Co. (AEP). Member of Central College Presbyterian Church. An avid sports fan, especially the Penn State Nittany Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers. Preceded in death by his wife, brothers, Charles, Fred, Robert “Bob”, James and sister, Helen. Survived by his sons, Paul R. of Westerville and David W. of Powell; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday 6-8 p.m. where service will be held Friday at 11 a.m., Rev. David M. Redding, officiating. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to The James Cancer Hospital.
