PATTON
William W. “Bill” Patton, age 83 of Akron, Ohio, where he moved to be with his daughter, passed away Tuesday November 1, 2011 in Akron. Formerly of Westerville, Ohio. Retired after 32 years as a sales rep. for Mooney & Moses Insulation Co. Marine veteran of World War II. Member of American Legion Post #171, past president of Westerville Sertoma Club and past member of K of P Lodge. Preceded in death by wife of 55+ years, Eilene (Freeman) Patton, parents Felice F.and William H. Patton, sister Felice Patton, sister-in-law, Mary Jaycox. Survived by daughter, Dr. Donna Patton and her boyfriend Bill Lawther of Akron, OH; nieces, Marsha McConnell, Elaine Maddy and Cindy Freeman; nephews, Dick Jaycox and Terry Freeman; good friends, Dr. Bill & Sheila Freeman, thanks for all the help. Enjoyed being a good husband, father and friend and loved square dancing with his wife Eilene. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME , 55 East Schrock Road
Westerville, Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 1-3 p.m. where service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Karen Ballard officiating. Private interment will be held at Burnside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Amvets or the Humane Society.
