William C. “Bill” Mondillo, age 74, of Columbus, passed away November 23, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Hospital East. Retired from McGraw Hill. Member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Chruch. Served honorably in the U.S. Coast Guard. Enjoyed golf, fishing and bowling. A loving husband, father and grandfather. Survived by his wife, Donna; children, Bill (Judy) Mondillo, Barbara (Doug) Sellan, Brian (Amy) Mondillo and Beth (Jerrod) Gillmore; step-children, Mary (Tony) Hill, John (Tonya) McCauley, Kathy McCauley and Teresa (James) Pierce; grandchildren, Mike, Matt, Michele, Andy, Kristen, Riley, Owen, Macie, Kayla, Jake and Luke. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Mondillo. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Monday 4-8 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 313 N. State Street, Westerville, Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Fr. Anthony Lonzo, celebrant. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery with Coast Guard honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Assn. or the James Cancer Hospital. Prayer service Monday at 7:30 p.m..
