William L. (Bill) Packard, age 75, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville.

Born on April 7, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio. Bill was a skilled and dedicated bricklayer, and a proud member of Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local 55 Ohio, where he also served as president of the union for many years. He took great pride in the projects he contributed to throughout Central Ohio, leaving behind a lasting legacy of craftsmanship and leadership.

Bill is survived by his loving daughter Andrea (Jeff) Gyurko and son Ryan Packard; cherished grandchildren Zachary and Taylor Gyurko; brother Ray (Mary) Packard; brother-in-laws David (Carolyn) Scott, Bill (Sandy)Scott, and Tim (Diane) Scott; sister-in-law Connie (Darrell) Applegate; mother-in-law Maxine Scott; and his dear companion Tona Craig and her granddaughter Sophia. He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 36 years, Cathy Packard, who he missed dearly; his parents. Ray G. and Jean Packard; his brother Mark Packard; and his father-in-law Forest Scott.

Bill was a man of many passions. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, horse racing, playing cards, and watching Jeopardy!, with his kids. He loved coaching his children in various youth sports and was most proud of the time he spent with his grandchildren, Zachary and Taylor. Watching them grow up and thrive was his greatest joy.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Moreland Funeral Home, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, OH, where funeral services will follow immediatley at 1 p.m. Burial will conclude in the Blendon Central Cemetery in Westerville.
