William David Crotty, age 82, of Westerville, passed away peacefully at St. Ann’s Hospital on August 19, 2017 with his beloved daughters by his side. Born December 21, 1934 to the late Michael and Della Crotty. Retired from Western Electric/Lucent. Proud U.S. Army veteran. Bill loved God and his family above all else. His favorite honor was being a Papaw. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Gail (Stakem) Crotty; daughters, Tamey (John) Wolfe and Theresa (Walt) Wallace; grandchildren, Gail (Rich Lanese) Amon, Joe (Kaci) Amon, John (Katie) Amon, Woody Wallace and Vaughn Wallace; great-grandchildren, Avery and Siena Amon, Evelyne and Anthony Lanese; sister, Norma (Virgil) Thompson; brother, Jerry (Judy) Crotty; as well as many treasured nieces, nephews, family and friends. Preceded in death by siblings, Dick (Jean) Crotty, Jim (Jane) Crotty and Myrna (Whitey) Beardsley. Private family interment. Condolences at morelandfuneralhome.com..
