William "Bill" A. Teegarden Jr, resident of Westerville, Ohio 43082 went home to be with the Lord at 11:20am on February 20th, 2025 while in the comfort of his own home with his wife and son by his side. Bill was born on July 15th, 1945 at Camp Blanding Army Base in Starke, Florida.

Bill was born to William A. Teegarden Sr. and Helen Blanch (Kennedy) Teegarden who resided in Rices Landing, Pennsylvania and are deceased. Bill was a graduate in the class of 1964 of Mapletown High School in Mapletown, Pennsylvania.

He is survived by his high school sweet heart, Betty Jo (Montgomery) Teegarden who he spent 60 years with, his daughter Joann (Teegarden) Simpkins (Tim, deceased) of Blacklick, Ohio and his son William Billy A. Teegarden III (Kerry) of Sunbury, OH; brothers, Jerry Teegarden (Donna) of Johnstown, Ohio, Mark Teegarden (Vickie) of Jefferson, Pennsylvania, and his sister, Darlene Linderman (Calvin) of Crucible, Pennsylvania; his brother-in-law, Thomas Tom Montgomery Sr (Rose, deceased) of Carmichels, Pennsylvania. Bill is also survived by his fantastic grandchildren: Dylan Teegarden (Ashley), Joshua Kennedy, Chase Kennedy, Samantha Mar (Marcus), Lauren Simpkins, and Cole Teegarden. In addition, he has several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Bill was the owner and operator of his own company, Teegardens Helping Hands, where he provided residential and commercial maintenance along with any other needs that were requested. He was known and loved by all.

Bill was a devout Christian and an Ordained Deacon. Bill and wife attend Genoa Baptist Church in Westerville, Ohio.

Friends may call at the Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10-11 a.m., Pastor Wayne Booth, officiating. Interment Pioneer Cemetery.

We offer our sympathy and prayers to the family. We had the pleasure of Bill at Roush Hardware and a few repair jobs at our home. He was a pleasant and positive guy.
