Our beautiful Wendy Lynn Wickham left this dimension on March 12th, 2026. Wendy was born on Dec 8th, 1965 in Lancaster Ohio. As a child Wendy liked to twirl and dance to records, play on swings and chase butterflies. She spent most of her childhood on a country farm. She helped watch over all her five younger sisters as they grew. Wendy loved to sunbathe and sometimes would put vegetable oil on her skin and sit on the tin roof of the chicken coop shed. She attended Big Walnut High School. During her high school years, Wendy liked to hang out at the Sunbury skating rink. She had many crazy adventures with her lifelong friend Theresa Dronsfield. Theresa was always there for Wendy every time she needed her through good times and bad. Best friend ever. Wendy was Ace in the Wickham kid's KISS band.
During her life she lived in Ohio, Michigan and Florida. Of course she loved the beach. Wendy learned many crafty skills during her life and used her talents to make incredible creations. She once covered a bathroom wall with pennies and made a beautiful floor out of recycled paper bags. She could paint any room quickly and expertly. She could outclean anyone anytime and was a great organizer. Wendy was selfless, always putting others before herself. She enjoyed caring for those close to her heart and giving them loving attention.
Wendy never wanted to impose on anyone. She believed in natural remedies and made her own healthy concoctions. She loved nature, babies, rainbows, plants and flowers. Wendy was a butterfly in a hailstorm. She loved drawing hearts on everything. She had a dry sense of humor, an infectious laugh, believed wild conspiracy theories and had a trademark on the phrase 'wtf'. Wendy was an amazing, tireless caregiver recently to her sister Missy during her final battle. We will miss her immensely. 11:11 sister !
Wendy was preceded in leaving this world by her sister Melissa Wickham, her brother Mark Wickham, grandparents Margaret and Thoburn Ernest, grandparents Dorothy and Kitridge Wickham, niece Stella Jenkins and nephew Gavin Jenkins.
Survived by her parents Thomas and Pamela Wickham, son Casey Ryder, daughter Loryn(Ryder) Benacquisto (John and grandchildren Maliah, Remi, and Nova), daughter Tayler Fling (Marlo Byrd and grandchildren Ariannah Cooper, Jayden Cooper, Trey Byrd, Amarah Byrd), niece Sydney Jenkins, brother David Wickham (Kim and nieces Madison and Jessica), sister Amy (Wickham) Overbaugh(Rick and nephews Jaden, Carson, Reno, Craig Norman and niece Skylar), sister Angela Wickham (BJ Rader and niece Tess Lyle), sister Candice (Wickham) Zondorak(Bob), Stephanie (Wickham) McEnery (Steve and nieces Reese, Lux and Pearl and nephew Samuel).
