Wayne Baker Heil, age 89, of Westerville, born July 15, 1923 and died January 25, 2013. Wayne was the longtime owner of Heil’s Family Deli at North Market Columbus, Ohio where he was known as ”The Potato Salad King”. He was a proud World War II Navy veteran. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Pearl Heil, wife, Eleanor Fuller Heil, daughter, Teresa Heil, son-in-law, Stephen Nicholson and granddaughter, Angela Hodges. Survived by his daughter, Linda Nicholson; sons, Roger (Pam) and Robert Heil; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Per Wayne’s request there will be no formal service but his family will receive friends at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Monday, January 28, 2013 from 5-7 p.m.. Private burial at Malta Cemetery, Malta, Ohio on Tuesday. A special thanks to our friends at Manor Care Westerville and Heartland Hospice.
