RAMBO
Virginia Rambo, 83, of Westerville passed away late Saturday after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born to the late Alvin and Hilda Lawson, April 27, 1928 in Gallipolis, Ohio. Before retirement, Virginia worked as a secretary for Swimming Pools of Ohio for over 20 years. Virginia shared a love for the beach with her family at their vacation home in Sarasota, Florida for many years. She is survived by five children: Larry (Vicki) Rambo of Amanda, Jerry (Rosie) Rambo of Croton, Ronnie Rambo of Westerville, Peggy (Ray) Rieser of Orient and Nancy (Doug) Brewster of Westerville. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. sister Katherine Wilder and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Alvin and Hilda Lawson, husband Delmar Rambo, sister Margaret Carney and brother Harold Lawson. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road Westerville, 5-7 p.m. Tuesday October 11, 2011 with service at 7:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest Wednesday morning at Union Cemetery.
