Virginia L Bellotti, age 97 passed peacefully November 1st at New Albany Care Center surrounded by the love and prayers of her cherished family and friends. Virginia was born October 11, 1920 and was a lifelong resident of Walsenburg, Colorado. She is survived by her son Richard (Susan E) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and daughter Susan Bellotti of Columbus, Ohio. Virginia has 3 granddaughters and 7 great grandsons. Virginia was foremost a family person who loved all her family. And she was loved in return for her presence and loving support. She was an outstanding cook and cake decorator. She had a bright smile and good word for everyone. At 90 she left her home to enjoy her last years in the care her daughter, Susan. Countless hours of care were given by Sr. Diane Kozlowski, OP, a dear friend of the family. She is preceded in death by her parents Henry C. and Myrtle Summers, husband Ernest Bellotti, and eldest son Rev. Fred H. Bellotti. Lots of gratitude is extended to the staff at New Albany Care Center for their care and companionship. Visitation hours on Sunday November 5th from 2:00 to 4:30pm with a prayer service at 4:30pm at Moreland Funeral Home in Westerville. Charitable contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 N State Street, Westerville, OH 43082. Funeral arrangements pending at St. Mary Church, Walsenburg, CO.
