SHULTZ
Truman W. ”Gus” Shultz, age 82, of Westerville, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Retired Columbus Police Officer. Member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and F.O.P.. Navy veteran or the Korean War. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Carlene; children, Pamela Suver, Kevin (Ellen) Shultz, Jim Kaser and Jeff (Linnea) Kaser; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Leila Ryan; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by 8 sisters and 2 brothers. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday 6-8 p.m. where service will be held Friday at 10 a.m., Pastor Floyd Stoltzenburg, officiating. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of Gus’s passing. I am so sorry I never had the opportunity to meet and know him. I like to think when we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you now. May God give you the comfort and peace that you seek and may the soul of your loved one rest in peace.
