FUNK


Timothy A. Funk, age 63, of Westerville, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife and children by his side on September 26, 2013. Purchasing Manager for Laser Flex Corp. and forced to retire due to illness. Graduate and avid supporter of Otterbein College. Loved his family deeply, enjoyed driving his shiny green ”72 Monte Carlo, watching the Buckeyes play, and going to blues and rock concerts. He called himself an antique teenager. Loved serving the Lord and the Westerville Community. An Eagle Scout. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Marsha; son, Josh (Kara) Funk of Perrysburg; daughter, Jessi (Dave) Hodge of Columbus; granddaughters, Lydia, Phoebe, Eden and grandsons, Isaac and Micah; father, Corwin (Joy) Funk; sister, Diane (Larry) Shields; and many beloved family and friends. Preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Row-Funk. Visitation will be held at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Sunday 2-4 p.m. and Monday 1-2 p.m. where service will be held Monday at 2 p.m., Rev. Jared Williams, Robert Wright and Josh Funk, officiating. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Brain Tumor Society in Tim’s honor. Our sincerest gratitude.

To Corwin, Joy and Diane, I am sorry I am not going to be there to celebrate Tim’s life. Tim, Corwin and the entire Funk family have made a huge positive influence in my life, and I love you all.
