Born in Turtlecreek, PA and moved to Grafton, Ohio as a teenager. He spent his early days as an athlete and star student. Tom became a Barber and opened his own shop next to his wife Skips Beauty Salon. After many years, the family moved to Westerville, Ohio where he began working for Holt, Rinehart, and Winston. He worked there for over 40 years until his retirement. Tom also owned, Westerville favorite, Exclusive Design Salon. Keeping the people of Westerville looking their best for over 30 years until passing it down to his daughters and granddaughter. Upon retirement with his love, Carole, Tom split his time between Westerville and Highland Park, Texas. Carole may have even turned him into a Cowboys and Texas Longhorn fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family, beach vacations, golf trips with Trevor and his buddies, leaving gambling money for Linda, and enjoying a perfect CC Manhattan on the rocks with a twist and a cigar.
Tom was a true class act: Selfless, respectful, and extremely hard working. Whether in business, tending to his plants, or getting dressed in the morning, Tom was diligent. Often referred to as the best looking guy in the room..the man was SHARP! Most importantly, Toms love for his family outshined everything else. He was so good, his great grandchildren called him Great.
Great will be deeply missed. His family feels incredibly lucky to have had someone that makes saying goodbye so hard. Until we meet again, Tom!
We invite family and friends to join us for an Open house.

To Tom’s Family, I taught chemistry and physics is several different schools within Ohio. Each year one of my days were brightened when Tom arrived to show the latest in chemistry/physics textbooks. What a special person and total gentleman. I feel you loss as I have also just lost the love of my life. Best wishes and hope that you keep the good memories and the pain of your loss subsides. – Kay Wagner

Melissa and Kristen,
I heard about your Dad and wanted to let you know how sorry I am. Your Mom and Dad were the best neighbors we ever had and I have so many wonderful memories of our years on Linncrest Drive.
You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Sue
