Thelma T. Samples, age 90, passed away January 16, 2013 at St. Ann’s Hospital. She was born in Montgomery, West Virginia, October 9, 1922 as the daughter of the late Albert and Alice Brown. She lived most of her life in central Ohio. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Granville Samples. She is survived by her daughter, Gail McDonald of Westerville; son, Granville Jr. (Carol) Samples of Johnstown; grandchildren, Jack Jackson, Susan Jackson, Ben Samples, Meredith Kitchen and seven great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Columbus Colony for taking great care of our mother. A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Mifflin Cemetery, Gahanna. Arrangements by MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, Westerville.
