Tessie C. Lane, age 82, of Columbus, passed away November 7, 2013 at home. She spent her lifetime in the sodding business. Active member of St. James the Less Catholic Church and Amvets Post 89. Survived by her son, Mark (Chong) Viles; grandchilden, Anita, Amanda, Rochelle, Ray and Chong; 3 great-grandchilden; brother, E.J. (Bev) Trombley; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold, sons, Dan and Rick Viles, parents, Elmer and Cecile Trombley, sisters, Barbara Shockley and Darlene Carson. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Sunday 2-5 p.m. where service will be held Monday at 11 a.m., Michael Carson, officiating. Interment Northlawn Memory Gardens.
