Leave a message of condolence

Teresa Marie Settle passed away peacefully at her residence on April 21, 2024. Retired from State of Ohio and Milanos Restaurant. Graduate of Brookhaven High School. Teresa was a huge fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, and her wardrobe often reflected that love. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, attending cookouts, and playing (and winning) games on her iPad. Teresa had a strong work ethic, and held down two jobs for a good portion of her life. She was kind hearted, funny, and witty - always knowing the right thing to say at just the right time. Teresa is survived by her brother, Charlie; her sister, Marcia; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Settle and Dawn Felterman; and her brother, Tom Settle. Those who knew Teresa know that she never chose to be the center of attention. In lieu of public services, and to honor Teresas character, we ask that all who wish to participate make a donation to either the American Heart Association (www.heart.org) or the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org). Or please have a private celebration of Teresas life in another way that honors her.

I worked with Terry for many years at the City Sewer Maintenance section. I last track of her shortly after her stroke. Thought about her many times over the years. It’s strange but I was just thinking about her just a few days ago. She will be missed by many including me.
