Teresa Eileen Fenstemaker of Westerville, Ohio, 61, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loved ones on June 18, 2014 after a courageously fought battle of 7 years with ovarian cancer. Teresa was born on April 2, 1953 to Dorothy and William Culbertson in Columbus, Ohio. Teresa had recently retired from Pusateri and Nichols & Co. CPAs. She is preceded in death by her sister Suzanne Brooks, father and mother. She is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Joe Fenstemaker; her sons Jordan and Joel Fenstemaker; her daughter and son-in-law Jaclyn and Michael Burgess; and granddaughter Claire Burgess. She has a brother and sister-in law, Lee and Paulette Culbertson; and their two daughters Kim and Celeste and four grandchildren. She also has three sisters and brother-in laws; Elaine and Andy Danna; and their son and daughter Nicholas and Abbie; Tina and Chuck Pusateri; and their two sons Angelo and Adam and six grandchildren; brother-in law, Michael Fenstemaker and his 2 daughters Stephanie and Lauren; sister-in-law, Billene Fenstemaker and her son Fred Broomall; father-in-law, Ray and his wife Shari Fenstemaker; many nephews, nieces, special friends and colleagues. Teresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her greatest love was her family and she enjoyed spending time in her yard with her children, flowers, garden and pets. She loved to entertain and cook food to enjoy with her family and friends. An avid traveler and beach goer, Teresa, traveled with her family to many unique and beautiful parts of the country and world throughout her life. Her passion for nature and the outdoors was expressed in activities such as hiking, bird watching, swimming and enjoying the diversity of life on earth. Her love of nature was reflected in her colorful and joyful paintings that adorned her home. Crafts were also a favorite pastime of Teresa’s which she enjoyed with friends and family. Teresa was always there for anyone who needed to laugh, or cry, and her kindness touched many hearts. We have been blessed with her love, strength, and courage that she showed each and every one of us every day. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the remarkable staff at palliative-hospice care unit 4th floor at Mount Carmel East for their support in Teresa’s final days and The Mark H. Zangmeister Center and Dr. Luis Vaccarello. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 29th at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville followed by a celebration of life at 4 p.m. Rev. Scott Gibson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mark H. Zangmeister Cancer Center 3100 Plaza Properties Blvd, Columbus, OH 43219 or Mt.
