Suzanne F. Murphy, of Sunbury, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on July 28, 1936 to Clyde Stanley Ferree and Helen Moore Ferree in Columbus, OH. Suzanne was a 1954 graduate of East High School. She married the love of her life, Charles Edward Murphy, on October 1, 1955. She was a wonderful mother to her five children, a devoted wife and a very faithful servant of God. Preceded in death by her parents, sister Joan Albright, brother Jack Ferree and grandson Daniel Brooks. Suzanne is survived by her loving husband, Chuck, her children Joan (Mike) Snow, Matt (Lisa), Jane (Mark) Reissig, Joe (Patti), Mary (Mark) Brooks, 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 10th at 11a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Sunbury, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will follow at Trenton Cemetery, Sunbury, OH.

I love my aunt susie. She was beautiful, intelligent, and so caring. I am so thankful for the memories of this special lady. My thoughts and prayers are with my uncle chuck and her children. Although the last years have seen her struggle under the awful cloud of dementia, as did her sister Joan, my beloved mother, I know they are together again and so happy to see each other after all these years. Now, my grandparents have all their children with them again which is a beautiful thing and makes the grief and sadness easier to bare. Thank you aunt susie for being in my life. I love you. Fly high!
