Susan Marcklinger, age 56, of Westerville, OH, formerly of Cheektowaga, NY, went to be with our Lord on May 1, 2014. Susan worked at St. Ann’s and in the Mount Carmel Hospital System for over 20 years. After putting herself through college Susan worked as an ER respiratory therapist and earned her MBA from the University of Dayton. She was a loving mother, sister and daughter. She enjoyed cooking, scrapbooking, playing cards and bossing her younger sisters around. Survived by her son of 27 years of whom she was very proud, Craig; father, Michael Sivick; sisters Linda Sivick (Peter Furkey), Michelle (Steve) Nelson and Jane (Jim) Kendall; loving nieces and nephews, Kalie Sivick, Katie, Amanda, Laura and Julie Nelson, Tori and Alex Warren, Celeste, Brandon and Andrew Kendall. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Sivick. Calling hours will begin at 9:30am followed by Mass of Resurrection at St. Elizabeth Church, 6077 Sharon Woods Blvd., Columbus, on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10 a.m., Rev. Fr. Charles Cotton, celebrant, followed by a luncheon. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Church, where Susan was a Parishioner.
