Stuart Lee Cline, age 64, passed to new life peacefully at home December 16, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born June 15, 1953, in Kenova, West Virginia. Graduate of New Albany High School; veteran of U.S. Navy serving from 1977-1981 on the submarine USS Ray SSN 653 receiving a meritorious unit commendation. Established and managed Plates incorporated 30 years ago and remained President until his death. Preceded in death by father Bill Cline and uncle Howard Hatten. Survived by wife Lori J. (Gallagher) Cline; mother Wanda Lee Cline of Columbus and brother Howard Dale (Debra Ann) Cline of New Albany. A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of The Resurrection in New Albany, Ohio. Friends may call 10:30 a.m. Saturday December 30, 2017 where a memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be in Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C. in the Spring. In Stu’s memory donations may be made to Ohio Health Hospice, Wounded Warriors or the charity of your choice.

Your journey with Stu has been long and very hard, but you have handled it with great strength, love and gracefulness. You are one of the strongest and thoughtful person that I have had the pleasure of knowing. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family at this time of loss.
