Stephen S. “Jake” Kain, age 43, of Westerville, OH. November 25, 2011. Formerly employed by Alpha Industries. Graduate of Hickory Knolls. Member Church of the Messiah United Methodist. Survived by his parents, Stephen and Mary Ann Kain; sister, Kathy (Kirby) Ivanoff; brother, Michael Kain; niece and nephews, Erin and Ian Ivanoff, Brian, Garrett and Zach Kain; aunts and uncles, Roger and Rosemary Pritchard, Susie and Dave Parker, Robert and Pam Pritchard, Mary Lou and Don Hodsdon, Janet and Terry McCumber, Laura Aspidow, Bev and Jack Webster, Robert and Pat Kain, Susie and Ron Fisher, Ed and Linda Kain; numerous cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his sister, Kristy Kain, grandparents, Ed and Eleanor Kain, Joe and Evelyn Pritchard, and Tom McGowan. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.. Service will be held at Church of the Messiah U.M., 51 N. State Street, Westerville, Tuesday at 11 a.m., Rev. Jim Wilson, officiating, Interment Blendon Central Cemetery. We love flowers, but another option would be donations in Jake’s memory to Bradley’s House of Hope, c/o Church of Messiah United Methodist.
