Stanley Martin Bien born May 15th, 1943, passed away in Westerville, Ohio Thursday November 28th, 2024. Born to Edward Bein Pops and Josephine Bien. Stan was born in Dearborn, Michigan and attended Fordson High School. He graduated from the University of Michigan to become an Electrical Engineer for UPS. Stan was a Vietnam Veteran, and served in the US Army from 1967 to 1969.

Stan, AKA Honey, as he was lovingly referred to by his family, had a very full life of adventures, laughter and lots of love. His passion for travel took him to many places over the years, but it was his love of travel with his family that he enjoyed the most. From trips to Hong Kong, Moab, Utah, Canadian Rockies, white water rafting in Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska, and the twenty plus years of summers spent at Silver Lake Michigan, that he enjoyed the most. Stans home was open to everyone as he never knew a stranger. Upon entering, you would find yourself immersed in music by Jimmy Buffet, food cooked on the grill, as he was an extraordinary grill master, and memories created that would last a lifetime. Stan loved to throw a good party for any reason, and often they revolved around his children, grandchildren and holidays. His extensive holiday décor was always admired by all.

Stan has been reunited with the love of his life Lorainne Bien. Additionally preceding his death, were his parents, brother, Edward Garbus, sister-in-law, Shari Garbus, mother-in-law, Catherine Regiec, and his son, Kris Bien.

Stan was a wonderful friend during the 11 years I knew and loved him...affectionate, funny, kind. I know that his friends and family all have happy memories of the time we were blessed to share with him.. I was fortunate to be able to visit him nearly every day at Paramount Senior Living and to be with him at St. Ann's when he passed away. May all of us who miss him find comfort in those memories. Blessings & Peace!
