Stanley Bennie Jenkins, born on April 8,1951 in Detroit Michigan, passed away February 19, 2017. He graduated from Southwestern High School, attended Michigan State University where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, attended Franklin University in Columbus ,Ohio where he obtained an Associates degree, a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Business Administration. He retired from Unysis Corporation in 2011. Stanley attended Pine Grove Baptist Church and Sunday School. On February 4,1978 Stanley married Deborah Moore and they enjoyed 33 years together. Stanley was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and was a special , loyal friend and relative and was always willing to help others when called upon. The word NO was not in his vocabulary. He also loved to garden, hunt with his father-in-law and cook. He is preceded in death by his wife Deborah Jenkins, parents, Bennie and Marian Jenkins and daughter, Shantia. Survived by his son, Stanley Jr., daughter, Nancy Catherine (Caleb) Holman; six grandchildren, Ethan, Jackson, Alyssa, Kylie, Aiden, and Charlotte Deborah; sister,. Deborah Jenkins Winans and brother, Marlin Jenkins, aunt Pauline Wright, and uncle Crawford Webb, mother-in-law, Teresa Moore, brother-in-law, Craig Moore and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His kindness and generosity to others and his commitment and love for his family will be forever remembered. May he rest in peace with his beloved Deborah whom he loved and missed so much. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville Saturday 3-5 p.m. followed by a service at 5 p.m. Private interment..

I am so sorry for your loss, It saddens me to hear of his passing. Stan and I were work colleagues and over the years worked together for many years. Stan was a great colleague and friend I have many great memories of our professional life together. The obituary captured the Stan I knew as well. I had not heard that Debora (Mom) had past till reading the obituary on Stan, sorry for your loss of mom as well. Our prayers and thoughts are with the entire Jenkins family.
