Irene, I am devastated to hear about the loss of Sherm. I feel privileged that I got to know him. He was amongst my favorites at the Arena. I always looked forward to his infectious smile and his kindness. I send you all love and prayers. I know he is in good company up there. I am sure our other Arena family members that have passed on will keep him in good company, especially during games.

Irene: Sherm was my first friend when I moved to Columbus in 1959 and worked with him at the Ohio Unemployment Bureau….Over the years, we did manage to share lunch when he was in my area on business…we so enjoyed catching up on our families and life in general…please know I am so saddened by his passing. He was a wonderful man and friend for over 50 years….Hugs to your family.

Old friendships are the best. Sherm was in our wedding. Gill enjoyed him so much. Hopefully they are in Heaven and still laughing and talking. My heart goes out to all the family. Love, Linda
