Sharon K. Sunday, a long-time resident of the Westerville area, passed away Monday the 5th of December 2016 at home, at the age of 65. Born in 1951 in Dayton, OH, Sharon received a Bachelor of Science in Life Science from Otterbein College in 1974. She continued her education at the Capital University in Columbus, from which she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1979. Sharon worked at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville starting in 1986 and continued to work there for 31 years until her retirement on the 2nd of December 2016. She was an active member of Church of the Messiah United Methodist and loved to sing in the choir. Sharon loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, enjoyed traveling, going to movies and out to dinner with friends and family, and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. She is survived by her sons, Jonathan, Joe and Jeff (Heather) Sunday; grandchildren, Korey and Lily; brother, Tom Kauffman. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Kauffman. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday from 6-8 p.m.. Service will be held at Church of the Messiah U.M., 51 N. State Street, Westerville Friday at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Jim Wilson, officiating. Entombment Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.
