Sharon Ann Conklin

Sharon Ann (Hadaway) Conklin, 86, of Westerville, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025. She retired from Lazarus/Macys after a 25 year long career. In the middle of her career, Sharon took time off to be at home and raise her girls. She took pride in being a wonderful homemaker and caring for her family. Sharon was a talented cook, and baker she was especially known for her homemade pies. Sharon was an avid cat lover and always had one or two by her side. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, shopping with her girls, and their many family trips to the beach. Sharon is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, James Conklin, and her two daughters, Jennifer (Michael) Gentil of Westerville, Ohio and Cynthia (Bryan) Griffith of Dublin, Ohio; grandchildren, Jack, Lauren, Jonathan, Ellen, and Charlotte. Preceded in death by parents George and Mary; siblings Sarah, Donald, Roberta, Barbara, and Marilyn; niece Kathleen. Service and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Capital City Hospice or the Cat Welfare Association.
