Scott Schlosser, age 61, of Westerville, Ohio, left us unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. He was born on June 21, 1961, in Greenville, Ohio, and graduated from Greenville High School in 1979. He had a long and successful career of over 39 years with Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable). Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Judy & Fred Schlosser. He is survived by his devoted wife, Christy Schlosser; daughter, Laura Carfagna (Luciano Carfagna) and grandson, Elio; sons, Joey Schlosser (Allie Carpenter), Cody Vermillion, and Connor Vermillion (Sarah Pennington); sister, Kelly Hounshell (Barry Hounshell); nephews, Zach Hounshell (Olivia Hounshell), Jacob Hounshell, and Matthew Hounshell; and brother-in-law, Ken West (Kathy West); his loyal dog and partner-in-crime, Izzy; and countless close friends and family members.

Full of life himself, he never missed the opportunity to brighten the lives of all those around him each and every day. He loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, golfing, live music, and traveling to see the world with his wife, Christy. He treasured time with his grandson Elio, with whom he shared many Dum-Dums, laughs, and playtimes. All his children will tell you that he always said, nothing good ever happens after midnight, although he never followed the rule himself.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Scott on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 5-8 pm at the Abruzzi Club, 273 Hanawalt Road, Westerville, OH 43081. Please bring a joke, laugh, or memory to share.

If you feel so moved, donations can be made to support the Oncology Rehabilitation Support Fund at the OSU James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Gifts may be made online at www.give.osu.edu or mailed to PO Box 710811, Columbus, OH 43271.

Now your soul can float around golf courses all day instead of just thinking about it.

I am so sorry for your loss and also so very thankful that my life crossed paths with Scott. He left a very positive impact in my life as he did many. RIP Scott.

Tim Miller - Mar 23, 2023

So sorry to hear this news. I hired Scott back in the very early 80’s at the Alief office in Houston Tx with Gulf Coast Cable before turning into Warner Amex then Time Warner. He eventually moved back to Ohio and my cable travels allowed me to meet up with him a few times or see him at vendor golf scrambles. Scott was very genuine guy and will surely be missed. My prayers go out to the family. Tim Miller

I'm so sorry to hear of this. Scott might of been my boss for a few years but I thought more of him than just that. He was a great guy to talk with and hang around. Glad I got to see him a few months ago. So sorry for your loss.
