Jenny, Brent and grandkids,
I was shocked and saddened to hear that your mom/grandma had passed away. I know you are feeling your loss deeply and pray that your fond memories of that feisty, ornery, funny, and truly kind woman will help sustain you as you learn to adjust to your world without her physical presence in it.
I went to work at Northeast School right out of college and first considered Sandy as a mentor who later became a friend as well. She was an excellent teacher who definitely made a difference in her students’ lives. I still have a few of them that will call me on the phone, and they always mention Mrs. Miller, and want to know what she is doing. The next time they call, I will be very sad to deliver this update.
God’s peace to you all,
Nancy K.

I have many fond memories of sled rides and ice skating at ThornMar Farm. Lots of hikes and picnics in the woods too. Adel and Sandy were my 4H Adviser. The Smith family made a lot of wonderful memories for all of us. When I see David at church, he reminds me of those care free times. You are all in my prayers.

My deepest sympathy to you all. Your mom was a wonderful friend, and we shared many happy memories while attending Ohio State, and thereafter. I will miss her great sense of humor, love of life, and endearing personality. She was truly a special friend. God bless you, Jan Csizmadia
