Sadie Ferguson Myers was born June 26, 1922 in Copiah County, Mississippi to Aenious Ferguson and Effie Little Ferguson. She passed away at the age of 93 on September 12, 2015. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Frances Ferguson and her childhood and lifelong friend and cousin, Mildred Newman Wright. She is survived by daughters, Linda Wilson, Martha (Larry) McCartney and Rachel Caldwell; grandchildren, Donna Garcia, Sue (Ben) Gaegly, Kim (Andy) Cody, Laurie McCartney, Melanie McCartney, Tom Caldwell, Jenny Berg and Melissa Martinez; great-grandchildren, Margie Garcia, Brandi Hopkins, Nick Hopkins, Morgan Cody, Martha Cody, Hunter Minney, Gage Minney, Gabrielle Baker, Katie Caldwell, Brittany Berg, Kaylee Berg, Madison Martinez and Ripley Martinez; great-great grandchildren Ben, Nathan and Breelyn. Sadie moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1947 and was joined there by her sister and mother to help raise Linda, Martha and Rachel. Shortly after her sister Frances died in 1998, Sadie moved to Westerville, Ohio to be near Martha and Larry and their children and grandchildren. A brief service for family and friends will be held at the Blendon Central Cemetery Chapel at 6330 S. Hempstead Road, Westerville on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Rev.
