Ruth O. “Penny” Brandt, age 88, of Columbus, OH died Monday, April 12, 2010. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles G. “Tubby” Brandt and parents, Jessie and Flossie Singleton. Survived by children, Dwight (Marcia) Brandt and Maggie (Dan) Koons; grandchildren, John and Michael Brandt and Danny and Blake Koons; brother, Herman Singleton of Greenville, SC; sister-in-law, Kathie (Bill) Seitz of Honor, MI; nieces and nephews and dear friend, Wanda Wilson. Ruth was a loving mother and friend who will be greatly missed. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, April 18th from 2-4 p.m. at Dwight’s home; 90 Belpry Place East, Westerville, OH 43081. The family would like to thank the staff at Pickerington Nursing and Rehab Center and Heartland Hospice for their wonderful care.
