DAWSON
Russel Benjamin Dawson, age 79, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away Monday, February 27, 2012. Russ served in the army during the Korean war. Graduated from The Ohio State University and retired as an inspector for U.S. Government. He was a member of the New Albany Lions Club and the New Albany United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis; son, Jeff; parents, Estel and Faye Dawson and brother Clair Dawson. Russ will be missed by his loving family, brother, Glen (Sylvia) Dawson; children, Tom (Lori) Dawson, Kathy (Jay) Larrison, Mark (Frances) Morrell; grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, March 2, 2012 from 6 – 8 p.m. at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Rd., Westerville. A service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at New Albany United Methodist Church, 20 South 3rd St. New Albany ,Ohio. Pastor Frank Luchsinger officiating. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, New Albany, Ohio.
