Rudolph J. Tiburzio

A Loving Father, Husband, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather.

Rudolph J. Tiburzio, Sr. passed away after a brief illness on January 17, 2025. He was the loving husband of 56 years to Pamela S. Smith Tiburzio. He was preceded in death by his parents Primo and Josephine of Italy. He is survived by his children Rudolph J. Tiburzio, Jr. (Stephanie) Brenda Elsasser (Tom) Dana Goimarac (Pete, deceased) and his loving caretaker, Trina Tiburzio. Rudy also has three grandchildren Cassie Pizzurro, Elizabeth Helbig, and Pete Goimarac, III (Allison). Completing his legacy are his four great -grandchildren: Addalynn, Ayla, Hudson, and Ansley. Rudy went to ST. Thomas Aquinas High School in Columbus, Ohio. He is a veteran of the United States Army. Rudy earned his B.A. at The Ohio State University while working at Shoe Corp. Rudy further advanced his career becoming the Real Estate manager at ARCO and ending his career at Sunoco. Rudy had an indescribable work ethic working well into his seventies. Rudy was also an avid sports fan rooting for the Buckeyes, all of the Pittsburgh sports teams, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Most of all, Rudy loved his family. He always put his family first and took care of them. Rudy will be sorely missed by all who knew him. A funeral mass will be held on April 4, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pauls Catholic Church, Westerville, Ohio. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers please make charitable contributions to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
