RoseMarie Calo age 89 of Westerville,OH, passed away peacefully in the presence of family on Sunday, December 18, 2022. Her life story was one of devotion to faith and family. Born in Pittsburgh PA on May 12, 1933 to the late Anthony and Rose Bruni, her first teachers. Rose Marie was also nurtured by her grandparents, Luigi and Anastasia Cangi. Always surrounded by her Aunts and Uncles as well as her many cousins, RoseMarie’s early life was filled with joy and happiness. She considered becoming a nun in the Roman Catholic Church due to her great devotion to Jesus Christ. Her path however led her to find her life partner of 53 years and the love of her life, her dearly departed husband, Vincent Calo and started a family. She was the beloved mother of Charles (Ann), Edward (Michele), and Anna Marie (Kim) Batt. Proud and loving grandmother to Anthony (Chelsea), Danielle (Justin) Kristen (Bryan), Michael (Corinne), Katherine (Paul), Vincent (Amara), William (Elle) along with 10 great grandchildren. From Larimer Ave. in Pittsburgh to Penn Hills to Westerville her life centered around her family. She spent many happy hours, alongside of her husband, enjoying watching her children and grandchildren with all their activities. The gathering of family on every Sunday bought great joy to her as she prepared masterful meals for the entire family as well as the many friends who happened to pop in. RoseMarie shared her great gift of love to all who ever met her. Although Alzheimer stole her mind her essence of love never left her. Also preceded in death by sister, Emelia Anobile and brother, Anthony Bruni Jr.. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E.
