Rose Ann Miesse, age 85, of Columbus, passed away Saturday June 1, 2013 at Forest Hills Center. Preceded in death by husband, Harry Miesse; parents and 4 siblings. Survived by children; Rosanne (Roy) Clouston of Shadyville, OH, Kathy Damron of Columbus, Linda (Dennis) Williams of Marion, Beth (Kevin) Weakley of Westerville and Mark Miesse of Columbus. grandchildren; Becky, Megan, Lyndzi, Kim, Ryan, Aaron, Raymond and Rowan. 5 treasured great grandchildren. brother Joe (Marty) Hughes. sisters, Coletta Hartnett and Jane Hughes. sister-in-law; Betty (Moe) Cea. numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at St. Elizabeth Church, 6077 Sharon Woods Blvd. Columbus, 5-8 p.m. Monday where Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday June 4, 2013. Fr. Charles Cotton, Celebrant. I am Virginia Miceli’s daughter. Rose was Mom’s roommate at Forest Hills. May I say how sorry I am over the loss of your Mother. She was so friendly to us. I have thought of Rose often since Mom died. I hoped she liked her new roommate and was doing well. I worried about her, because she was where Mom was 4 years ago. She could still walk and talk and I regretted her continuing decline and I knew how hard it would be on all of you as you watched her. I loved hearing her stories of all of you, your Dad and her parents. May you have comfort in your time of sorrow. Like my Mom, Rose is now at peace. Blessings on all of you. Nancy and Bill Sheridan

This was such a shock. Rose was such a wonderful roommate for my mother. She treated my family so nice when my my mother was passing. She enjoyed telling us about her family past and present. She was a neat lady.
