Cathey,
My sympathy to you in the recent loss of your mother. I remember her when you lived with her on Parkview in Westerville. You provided me a ride to downtown Columbus in years past. I also remember your sister, Sharon, and the joy she brought to life. Many blessings to you in the days forward, as memories remain.
I hope you receive this message.

Rose volunteered at Villa Angela Care Center for serveral years when I was the Activities Director. She got many Elks involved in honoring the Veterans. She was in charge of our Resident of the Month award and she went on trips out with our residents for years. She was a wonderful lady. She will be missed!

I met Rose through the Elks and became very fond of her. Rose was the most dedicated Elk I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was a very special Lady who was a friend to everyone she met. I don’t believe there was a name she didn’t remember. Rose will be truly missed…..Crystal Ropp PER – Marysville Elks #1130

Rose was not a member of Columbus/Grove City Lodge #37 but she attended more of our Lodge meetings than some of our own officers. As the Lodge Chaplain I loved looking out and seeing Rosey sitting with our members. She has supported me in my journey through the chairs of the Lodge and in any Elk endeavor that I wanted to try. She will always have a very special place in my heart. Lodge meeting and functions will never be the same…
