Dear Eileen and family,
I just learned of Rodney’s passing here in January. I am so sorry for your loss although I know he is at home in eternal glory with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I always enjoyed seeing you and talking to you at Reynoldsburg Baptist Church and remember Rodney with fondness. I was always inspired by his long service in the gospel and am glad you both fellowshipped with us for a season at RBC! May the Lord bless you and comfort you in the days ahead.

So sorry to hear about coach. I went to Real Life Christian Academy. He was my teacher, coach in soccer, basketball, softball, and a friend and a mentor. He taught us alot of lessons in life, but most of all he showed us and taught us how to walk with Christ!!!
And that is the most important thing you can teach a person! He will be missed, but he is with Christ now and being told, Well done thy good and faithful servant!!!!

Hi all, and Eileen especially,
We are all spread out over the globe and were saddened to hear of Rod’s passing. I am sure you will hear over and over what a great friend and spiritual leader Rod was, not the least to our family. I enjoyed working with him on the services and events, and in the short time on committee. It was formative for our daughters, as well. Please accept our condolences, but our joy at his going Home: “and to die is gain.” We literally just read that in our devos yesterday morning and glad to have the reminder. J, L, E and H

Rod was always a blessing to our family from the first time we met him. Through the years we learned so much about the Bible and how to live for Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour through Rod’s teachings. As time grew on he and Eileen became part of our family, as well as sweet friends. God bless the Doran family in this sad and massive loss. I cling to the thought that Rod is with my dad in heaven!
