Robin L. Nicholson, age 65, of Westerville, OH. February 15, 2010 at St. Ann’s Hospital. Retired Deputy Chief, Upper Arlington Fire Department. U.S. Army veteran. He was an organ donor for ALS research. Loving husband, father, happy pappy, son and brother. Survived by his wife, Sandra; children, Melissa (Daryl) Williams, Christopher Nicholson, Charles Nicholson, Lisa (Ron) Rhodes, Shane Nicholson and Meagan Nicholson; 10 wonderful grandchildren; sisters, Debra (Jim) Ventling and Cathy (Brian) Mills; brother, Rick (Yongmei) Nicholson; 5 nieces. Preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Dick Nicholson. Robin was an amazing servant of Jesus Christ. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Friday
2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m., Bob Graham, officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ALS Assn., 1170 Old Henderson Road, Columbus, OH 43220 or W.A.R.M., 175 E. Broadway, Westerville, OH 43081 or Mercy Medical Center, c/o Xenos Christian Fellowship, 1340 Community Park Dr., Columbus, OH 43229. A celebration of Robin’s life will be held at Xenos Christian Fellowship following the graveside service.

Robin’s smile could light up a room. He was a warm person who was always welcoming. We are heart broken by the loss and thankful he has gone to be with Christ Jesus. We give thanks to God, Almighty for ending Robin’s suffering. We treasure our memories of Robin. May God give you comfort and bless you. We will always miss Robin and remember him fondly.
