Roberta Jean Melvin, 68 year old, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on December 1, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Jerry J.D. Melvin Sr, sons Jerry (Debbie) Melvin Jr., Kelly (Tina) Melvin, and grandchildren; Keltin (Hunter), Luke, Adrianah, Isaac, and London Melvin, many loving family members, and friends.

Roberta will be remembered most for her love of Jesus and her love of her family, the two most important things in her life. Beyond her personal life, Roberta had a rewarding career in Real Estate. Roberta's love for her clients was her driving force in her career as she went on from Realtor to Broker and owner of a Real Estate Company. Roberta received many designations, awards, and certificates throughout her career, but nothing was as satisfying as helping her clients.

Family will received friends on Monday, December 5th from 6-8pm at Moreland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Tuesday, December 6th at 9:30am at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

“Bert” was the best neighbor one could ask for. We spent many evenings together at “Club Jerry” over the years swapping stories. She was so caring, always looking out for us. I feel honored to have known her.

We are shocked and so sad to hear this! Roberta helped us sell and buy 2 homes. She was as caring and helpful as could be. We totally trusted her suggestions and judgement. Our sincere sympathy to your whole family.

Roberta, (Bert) was such a very special lady and an inspiration to everyone that knew her. We started in real estate together and helped each other through the early years in crazy market of the '80's. It was a joy to bounce ideas off each other see our businesses grow. She was a sound thinker who would always give good advise and cared so much about her clients. She was a blessing to all that knew her and it's a comfort to know she put her faith in Jesus. My heart and prayers are with Jerry Sr, Jerry Jr, Kelly and her family. Chris
