Robert L. Steele, 82, of Westerville, passed away Saturday December 5, 2009 at St. Ann’s Hospital. Retired from Jeffrey Mining & Manufacturing Co. Member of Vans Valley Community Church, Sunbury; West Gate Lodge #623 F & AM.
U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Preceded in death by parents, Claude &
Rosalie Steele and brother, James. Survived by loving wife of 63 years, Kathleen (Rood) Steele. Children: Rebecca (George) Krashovich of Arizonia, Mark L.
(Debbie) Steele of Pataskala, OH and Lynne (Mike) Hoffman of Georgia. 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Brothers; John & Herb. Sisters, Nancy & Sarah. Several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road Westerville, Tuesday 6-8 p.m. where
service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday December 9, 2009. Pastor Larry DeWitt officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Becky, I don’t know if you remember me, but we were good friends at Schottensteins. I was so sorry to read about your Dad passing. I lost mine almost 5 years ago so I can understand what you all are going through. I’ve missed you all these years. Know my thoughts are with your whole family.
